My sweet girl.

Well today is my one and only darling daughter's birthday. She turned the big 4 today. When M was born and J saw that she was a girl, he cried. I asked him what was wrong and he told me that we had just had a girl. Of course I began to cry. After 3 boys we just figured we knew how to do boys. Having a girl didn't even cross our minds. We just knew it was another boy and that was alright with us. Having our world change in an instance was again alright. In fact, it was perfect. She was perfect! M is mini me. I love her more than she'll ever know. I love her asking if she can be my buddy; my singing buddy, my shopping buddy, my television watching buddy, my everything buddy.

This is M this morning waiting to open presents. This is M with one of her gifts. Girly, but not too foo foo.

This is M blowing her candles out on her cake. We celebrated her birthday a couple of days ago with relatives.

All along M was saying that she wanted a princess crown cake. I was gung ho and ready to create. Just an hour before family was coming over she informed me she didn't want just a crown cake, she wanted it on a princess head. It was Sunday, and I wasn't about to go shopping for the stuff, so we looked around the house, found some goodies and tried to make it work.

Happy Veteran's Day to everyone out there! I have a handful of relatives that are veterans. I am so proud of all of them and all that sacrificed for my family and our freedom. Here's to all of you....

M and I went to a second hand store this morning and hit the jack pot. I walked away with all of these darling skirts and paid less than $20.00 for them all. M and I were so excited for our find and with how much we spent. You have got to love a good deal.
