The arrival of my baby.

Alright... so here I am. Happy, healthy and ready to have my baby!

Okay, well that was exactly 2 years ago today. This is me with my baby.
Where would I be without my little j? He has made my life complete. Because of him my family is whole. I love him more than he could ever possibly imagine. My baby; the boy with 100 faces. Happy Birthday j!
.................................................................
Last night we had a little family birthday get together for j. I made him a cute (well I thought it was cute) little farm cake. Here he is trying to blow out the candles. He wasn't getting the blow concept down to well and was simply breathing hard.

...................................................................
Saturday our family went on a very long horse ride. If you don't believe me just ask my hind end. Yes, three days later and I am still sore. The kids think it is funny. They told J that he needed to make me a padded saddle for our next ride.

.................................................................
I have found a new hobby and am loving it. I am writing children's books. Not to sale or anything. Just for the pure enjoyment of watching my children read them. This all began when L decided that life was simply a time that we were put on earth to play. Nothing else was worth doing. I encouraged him to make up a story. We then tweaked it, took pictures of him, and walla! Made a book. One book turned into two, and now eight children's books later, here I am. L can't seem to put the books down. He is reading them all of the time and to everyone. Whether fact or fiction, I think I am going to pursue this new hobby of mine.
This is a picture of M dressed as a fairy princess. Her book was entitled, "Fairy Princess Surprise."
...............................................................
I received my first letter from my parents yesterday. My how the memories of my MTC life flooded back to me. I felt the spirit so strongly when I read my mother's words. How blessed I am to have such wonderful examples in my life and in my children's lives.

You're writing children's books....wow..wonderful. I would be interested in how you are making them into a book form with the pics. That is a wonderful idea. You guys are all growing up. We talked about little J's bday today and talked about how much we miss you guys. When this wedding is over we need to hook up. Tell everyone hello.
